CAFIS has successfully concluded the second phase of its two-day training on disability inclusion and inclusive media, held with the generous support of VIKES – Viestintä ja kehitys -säätiö.
The training brought together persons with disabilities, journalists, minority groups, and representatives from displaced communities, creating a valuable space for dialogue, shared learning, and collaboration.
Over the two days, participants engaged in discussions on inclusive journalism, the importance of respectful language, accessible communication, and practical approaches to amplifying marginalized voices in the media.
CAFIS remains committed to advancing inclusive media practices in Somalia and strengthening partnerships between journalists and underrepresented communities, with continued support from VIKES.
